Yeovil Hub

Tim from The Detective Project Wessex ran two evening sessions with trainees from the Yeovil Hub.

Yeovil Hub is a fantastic venture which provides support and training to empower the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism, helping each individual achieve their own personal independence, support their community and work together. They run a cafe where the trainees cook and serve refreshments and meals to local businesses and visitors.

During the sessions, Tim had a tremendous time turning the participants into budding crime scene investigators. Fresh from their self-designed sensory trail they were all suitably attuned to the gruesome discovery of a body in the admin space of the Hub.

They worked brilliantly together using all their combined experience, analytical and questioning skills to determine the most likely suspect in the murder.  A brilliant effort all round and made even better by the cakes on offer whilst they pondered the evidence!

A fulfilling and rewarding time was had by all.
